The Craftsman
Jeff Zacher
Three Decades of Craft
Building guitars is not a job. It is a calling.
Jeff Zacher began building guitars in 1994, driven by a simple conviction: the best instruments are made by hand, one at a time, without compromise.
Each guitar starts as raw tonewood carefully selected for its resonant qualities. Through hundreds of hours of shaping, carving, and finishing, it transforms into an instrument that responds to the player like a living thing.
Inspired by the golden era of American guitar making, Zacher instruments blend timeless design with modern precision. No two are exactly alike.
Jeff works alone in his New Jersey workshop, taking on a limited number of commissions each year. This ensures every instrument receives his complete attention from first cut to final setup.
“A great guitar is not manufactured. It is born through patience, intuition, and an intimate understanding of wood.”
